We cautiously planned our summer vacation in ways unfamiliar to us – including fewer stops and a lot more hand sanitizer – and had a wonderful week together to relax, reflect, and regroup about what we want out of the rest of the year. After the cancellation of our wedding in response to COVID-19, I knew Alan and I needed to do something to celebrate us in a time where nothing felt in our control.
